I have the latest installer which works fine until about 85% compolete, when it says "installing wallpaper" and hangs, CPU drops to 0% for that process. I read another post click here
http://www.litestep.net/?section=4&action=details&catId=1&id=5316

which claims that manual installation is not recommended for OTS2 compatible setup. I am new to litestep and am curious to try it out on my old laptop, inspiron 8200 xp pro (2002 no service packs) have searched forums to no avail...

Do you have admin rights on the PC?

yes. Restarted and LS appears to be running, however after letting the installer sit for 30 min, I terminated the process through task manager. did this several times. I can only hope that everything was completely installed and the error was perhaps with windows installer.

I don't think it is complete. Did it walk you through setting up your default app paths and such?

Happens to me too, try installing with the wallpaper options unchecked.
