Hi there,

Just installed litestep on my dual boot Kubuntu machine to deal with having to use windows once in a while for dj'ng. I read the instructions and downloaded the Omar distribution to simplify things on the install. After installing on my Dell 5160 laptop however, I get no response from my touchpad/mouse/keyboard. The mouse works while it's booting into windows and right at the last second when the shell comes up, it all stops working. I can't even tab through the desktop icons to use the setshell to go back to explorer.

Any help would be appreciated as a search came up with zero.

Sounds like your laptop is in need of a driver to be loaded that isn't because explorer isn't the shell. Try plugging in an external keyboard and mouse and see if that works. If it does then attempt to locate the exe that is required by your laptop and add a link in your Startup Folder.

Try using generic drivers if Dev's suggestion doesn't work.
