hey guys, im worse than new to LS. before i download & install it, i need to find a skin that resembles windows 98, as the rest of my family need this computer, and most wouldnt be able to work out how to operate another theme. if anyone knows of a theme that could help me, it would be great.

thanks

what would be the point of replacing explorer with an explorer look-a-like?

Get a shell manager, as described in other threads, and show them how to pick explorer.

i was told LS was a bunch more stable because it replaces or doesnt use rundll32, and a different skin would be too complicated. (they have more than enough trouble as it is).

just create another user for them like i did ;)
and in win98 you can use a shell-switcher like shellon to make different users have different shells.

ok, cool, does shellon use much resources? (my comp isnt too good)

if you're worried about resource usage try litespawn... though ShellON can be told to quit after the shell started iirc.

Try and find the theme JayOS. It is very similar to explorer with a few enhancements bolted on.....
