I am still having a little trouble with playing full screen games with LS on. I am using the !ToggleModues Bang which is solving most of my problems. However (noting that I am not a big coder just good enough to make simple stuff work) when I am playing FPS games e.g. Doom3 I am still getting what appears to be the activation of my shortcuts menu (or something similar) while paying the game causing it to temporarily halt until I hit the left Mouse button again where upon the game resumes and I am usually close to death. My question is. Is there a way to totally disable the shell while I am playing a game or using an app. Or are there any insights to what might be causing this problem? I am using The Singularity Theme, does this theme make more use of hotspots, if so could this be causing the problem at all?

I use a third party hotkey application, and set it up so I can launch LS via a hotkey at any time. Just quit the shell completely to play those full-screen games. It won't use *any* resources or cause *any* conflicts. =)

Bind other hotkeys to your mail/browser/file manager, and you hardly need a shell at all. (Sacrilege, I know...)

you could always pause a recycle when you launch the game.

Hmmm? I'm not sure what you mean by that. Maybe I need more coffee.

If you made a hotkey like...
*Hotkey Ctrl+Shift H !Execute [!Recycle]["C:\Games\Half-Life\Half-life.exe"]

By having the shift key in the hotkey it will pause the LS recycle and launch the game. Then when you are done just click OK and you are good to go. It's all covered here.
