LiteStep interfering with WindowBlinds and IconPackager ? Thread last updated on 2006-03-11 19:15:45

I have installed LiteStep. Now IconPackager doesn't apply the icons properly [it only applies a few]. And windowblinds works better, but it does not skin the "Logoff" windows. Which really destroys the total look.

Does aynone know why ?

The Icons replaced by IconPackager were part of the Explorer shell. You have to do some heavy hacking to get your icons to switch in LS. As for the Logoff windows...I didn't think that was part of the WindowBlinds package but LogonStudio. Unless you are speaking of what comes up so you can choose Logoff, which is also part of the explorer shell. People have hacked that though and made their own using LS alternatives.

Aww too bad. Well okay, I'll just have to think of something else then.

It's pretty easy to get your icons back with ResHacker.

There's a tutorial out there somewhere.
