i'm using xLabel 3.5.1 and want to make a little time date display. But the font is ugly:

It looks like Cleartype isn't on, but if i turn it on, it gets even uglyer. So how can i fix this?

I don't think the font itself has anything to do with it. My guess is that you're trying to put an antialiased font on an alphamapped background, which isn't possible with xLabel UNLESS you create an overlayLabel inside the main label that holds the text.
