Yeah, I may seem like some new guy posting a thread like this, but seriously...
So many people have problems with litestep, it's just dangerous if you dont understand shells. So why don't we advance crash-control with litestep?

Wouldn't it be nice to make a release that would give you 3 options if it crashes?
Just have a simple popup ask if you want to "Open Litesetp Folder", "Reset shell to Explorer.exe", "Restart Litsetep", or "Cancel"

It's almsot ingeaneous, I mean, there are times I just want to re-run litestep because it was a stupid bug I made myself. This would be even good for developers!

there are shell switchers that can do about the same thing

I use a third-party hotkey app to restart LS or launch explorer. That's all I need.

well...none of those are the point, lol
it's to make it easier for noobs too, yeah that works for dev's but say that to a new guy and they'll probably keel over drooling on the ground. :P

The devs have decided in the past that this is outside the scope of the application. It is handled very well by other applications and there is no need to reproduce the work.

Ok, think I could contact omar about adding some app like that to his installer?
*I don't know eher to go to contact him

I think you're out of luck. Omar has left the LS scene and there won't be any new releases of his installer (hence the LOSI project).

I'm sorry to sorta change the subject.. but LOSI project?

I am new to litestep, but I figured it out.Just use cntrl+shift+esc to end process litestep.exe if its maxed out cpu or frozen etc. and then use the run command and browse to your litestep.exe and run it again,if you really messed it up u can browse to the insall default theme and run that instead. That's how i learned to change my default theme to Obsidian 1.0 ... editing the properties of that file to change the switch :)
