Clickonic Source Code!? *Please* Thread last updated on 2006-02-15 23:01:04

Ok, well, to put it simple I'm learning C++ and I like litestep but want to change (update/fix) some things.

Anyways, I dont understand why clickonic seems to be the only dekstop icon module that simulates a standard Operating System environment. So...I have found a few things that need to be fixed and added, so if anyone knows where I can get the source to clickonic, that would be awesome!

If not, I hope I gain enough experience in C++ to program my own environment.

Have you tried contacting the module's author? His email and ICQ are in the help file.

Ok, I will try that.
In the meantime, any other help would be great!

*drools*

Thanks :)

EDIT: ok, I'm not good enough with C++ to write VC++ code.
I've only been working with basic CLI interfaces so far, but I can still understand your code. *I've realized this is your module, sega*
Anyways, the one main bug I seemed to be having has stopped!?
I've been looking through the code and cannot find why icons would be misplaced when I am running a high resolution and it seems to not be happening anymore. So, unless anyone else can find why this happened...guess that's it for now!

I don't even know what Clickonic does. But in order for it to be notified of a resolution change you must recycle LiteStep if it is a LiteStep module.

lol, its not resolution change that's the problem...it's more-or-less something about how my icon positioning was configured, I would position them and random icons would show up misplaced. It stopped doing that for a while after I had quite using litestep for a period of time, so I am not 100% sure of the source. Anyways, if anyone has a similar problem, please post it here. It would be nice to catch all bugs, even if they aren't very common. :)
