the original problem was:
"so litestep was working fine lastnight at 2am, but when i got up this morning and recycled as i usually do, i get error messages saying that litestep cannot find taskbar, syscolor, and lsxcommand modules. i dunno whats happened, but i'd be forever greatful if you could help me figure out how to fix it. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling using omar's, Indie step and DIst.ru install packages and none of them work. thanks for your help guys."

Ermm, the people who talk on ls-universe are the same ones who talk here, and those people are the same people on the litestep IRC channel, and those people are the same people at ls-themes.org... so...
