I want to get my icons on the desktop.

I visited the link which addresses this problem and set up xdesktop.

however when i recycle litestep a error pops up saying i haven't defined the xdesktopconfig file conatining my xdesktop item lines. I have no clue.

any help would be GREATLY appriciated

You did something wrong, then.

You probably forgot to add "Include "$ConfigDir$xdesktop.rc"" or maybe you didn't even create the file?

I know for a fact if you follow those steps that it works perfectly.
