Hi,

I have been looking for the "perfect" nextstep look but without success so far.
Do you know if someones has developped such a theme ?

Thanks!!

Not in a long time, no. The NeXT look will require...wharfs.

Six or seven years ago you wouldn't even have had to ask; there were NeXT-looking themes aplenty back then. I haven't seen one in ages though. But... if you want to get into LS theming this is a golden opportunity. You know what you're after and the modules are there to make it happen (if the old wharf.dll works with the new builds, that is), and I'm sure you can find some NeXT graphics somewhere. Why don't you give it a shot? :)

uhmmm...there is one on the front page of this site. It was called BrushedNeXT by dreamer. I believe it is even here in the themes section. If you can't find it let me know as I have a copy that is slightly butchered.

I'm working on a port of the Afterstep look right now, email me and I can send it to you. I intend to create a WindowMaker / Nextstep look later on once I've figured everything out.

Most of my effort has been based on this screenshot and images from the afterstep tarball.

*sigh*

Is there a reason this needed to be resurrected?
