Does anyone think it would be possible to include the packet sniffer into a litestep theme? http://www.snort.org

define "include"... there's little stopping you from putting the binary into your theme directory

I'm sure you could somehow put snort into a theme. I've not used the Win32 version of it, but I know on *nix you would need a frontend for it which you could tie into a theme, but my question would be why? Granted its relatively low usage, when your using your system for the internet its going to be checking all your packets and I just don't see the need unless its used on a server.

I can understand if you want to make sure your not hacked or something of that nature, but if your that worried about it then you should setup a router to go through or something. I have a NetBSD router for my home network and I don't have anything really running on it so my chances of being compromised are rather limited. Its very kool when you don't have to worry about certain security patches for windows because my machine is not directly on the internet.
