ok... i'm running windows XP and i dl litestep, installed it, put a different theme and love it... but for some reason the winamp controls don't work... did i do something wrong? and if so how can i change it w/o re-installing litestep? I'm running winamp 3.

Litestep Winamp controls will not work with Winamp3. Uninstall 3, Install Winamp 2.80 and you'll be golden...

http://classic.winamp.com/ is where you can get winamp2. I am sure that winamp3 controllers will be setup when it's more widely used. Most think it's pretty bloated.

There are .dlls that will detect the version of winamp open and will then work for that version... if both are open, 2 rules. Gandharva.dll is one of them (you'll also need the gclient.wac winamp plugin)... look on Loose-screws.com to find it... mind you this means that you'll have to look in the step.rc for your theme and unload the previous amp dll and then load in the new one and change the method calls... fun stuff, but it is easier to just use winamp2 and be happy with how much better it is than winamp3.
