does the lssliderfoo [foobar2000] mode work for anyone? Thread last updated on 2006-01-18 18:30:24

i have foobar 0.83 (which has been at that version for longer than i can remember) and lssliderfoo 1.82. when i set the slider to foobar2000 mode the slider renders but it doesn't do anything or read any of the position information. when i set it to winamp mode it reads the position information but i can't control it with the slider (its able to read it because i have a foobar plugin that makes an invisible winamp spam window to make foobar work with most winamp reading plugins). has anyone had any luck getting the foobar2000 mode to work for lsslider?

the line from my config looks like this
*ampPosSliderModuleHook !SliderHook "Winamp Position Slider" "7" "7" "1" "sliderampBG.png" "sliderHandle.png" HI [FOOBAR2000]

did you install foo_remote?

You could also leave it as Winamp, and use foo_winamp_spam.

oh i didnt know you had to have foo_remote installed. its working now thanks.

and cerbie, i do have foo_winamp_spam installed, but it doesn't work for lsslider. (it shows the position correctly but if you try to move it it just jumps back to where it was before)

Yeah, there is that (OTOH, I dislike other limitations of lsslider :)).
