what are the permissions on the zip? or the folder the zip is in?

Have you tried as administrator?

sounds like a windows thing rather than a LS thing anyway...

When I downloaded the themes I was not aware that I was not supposed to extract them.

Easy way to install themes from online...

When it prompts to save to disk or open file
select open then browse to your Litestep/utilites folder
select lsthemeinstaller
Now every theme you download you can select this as an option
to open instead of winzip or winrar
And it automatically installs from the site!

yes, extracting the theme to your themes folder usally helps :x
