Is there any possible way to use Windows Active Desktop component with LiteStep? I've been trying to figure this out but no luck.

I think the closest you can get is using the oborzevatel module.

Or you could run a vbscript that runs IE in a borderless window, kind of a quasi-kiosk mode.
