I was trying to install a theme and i deleted the current theme from litestep. Now, all there is when i log into my profile is a blank screen and an error message telling me that the theme is not active (not exact wording) which is because the theme is not there. I tried to access the folder through my guest account on my computer but it is read-only and i can\'t change anything. Is there any way to uninstall litestep from the guest account? If not, what else can I do?

restart your computer, and go into safe mode by holding f8 on bootup. from there you should be able to get into your "administrator" profile, and it should load into the explorer shell. you can uninstall it from here.

i tried but it is not loading; i think it's not loading explorer; instead it's loading litestep.

Just boot like normal, and use taskmanager to get to the uninstall link. (ctrl+alt+del)

remember to use the switch to explorer shortcut in your startmenu before you uninstall as well.

or you could just change the theme value from the non-existant one to a new working theme, that value is in: "$themesdir$themeselect.rc"

or you could format your harddrive and reinstall windows

or you could sledge hammer your pc and drive off a cliff

or you could pour gasoline on it and lite it on fire

Why not join two ends of a cosmic string together to form an inter-universe aperture, and then just stuff the hard drive into it?

or you could join me and xcal in destroying what was left of an ls.net helpline, whilst flaming off a cliff; formatted, reinstalled and sledge hammered pc in tow; all screaming "burn mother burn!!!"

or you could throw the pc into the twilght zone. whichever suits you.
