i just started using ls, as a matter of fact, i just installed it and rebooted. ive used it before but briefly. upon installing a theme, everything went smoothly except i got a message saying "modules downloaded, but zip is invalid".

here they are:
systray2
popup2
hotkey
shortcut2

any ideas as to what i should do? please be nice?

They're missing version numbers, and hotkey is redundant.

anyone care to expand on what xcal has offered up? maybe as to what i should do to remedy that?

which theme is it? thats a start

The modules should have version numbers. The theme you're using was not tested well. IE, popup2 could be popup2-2.1.7.

greymattr, open the theme folder, open the theme.rc file, and post all the netload lines you see. for example:
*NetLoadModule jdesk-0.711
*NetLoadModule popup2-2.1.7
*NetLoadModule shortcut2-2.0
*NetLoadModule lsxcommand-1.9.4
