litestep locking up profile Thread last updated on 2006-01-02 15:41:24

Okay... I installed 'LiteStep Installer (omar) (72)' version 3.02 on Windows XP... Everything was working... Then I double clicked on a theme I had downloaded, thinking this would activate the installer -- but it restarted my computer. When I log into that profile now (my main one, which is the only one with administrative controls too...) a box comes up prompting me to download some 20 different things. If I hit cancel, it just has the litestep background, and doesn't do anything. I have dial up, and it won't allow me to access anything except that download box, so I can't download these things which are suddenly being necessary for Litestep to operate... As far as I know there is no way to disable litestep and reset it to the Windows theme.

Help??? I really hope I don't have to format my computer...
Oh, and I'm currently on a second profile without administrative controls, which doesn't have litestep installed (if I can even do anything from here, although I doubt I can...)

Every theme is different. You will probably always need to download something for a new theme to work.
