I just used the easy2install program to install the software, and I was told that there were some files missing. First of all, could anyone tell me what the files are?

Also, if no one knows that, how can I change back to the normal windows shell to correct this and and then switch back to Litestep?

ez2install is an older installer that never really caught on. If you can, you will want to download omar's installer and boot to that. I would also then delete the ez2install folder.

Omars installer is free. And more widespread (therefore youll get better free support for it)

It's just that, well, you can't install themes. oh, well

right click, go to lightstep, change themes, install themes, click the "..." button, select the zipped theme folder, be connected to the internet, dont use a download manager
(eg. DAP), and click download to download and install the modules, and its pretty much it..

Thats it...take advice from someone that can't spell the name of the application right.

Just download a theme...rename it to themename.lsz and double click on it. But yes...be on the Internet when you do it.

It's a laptop with no internet access. And it doesn't seem to let me set up the connection.

You will want to have an Internet connection while using LS. However, you can get around it. To do this you would need to install LS on a PC with an Internet connection, like the one you are on now. Boot into LiteStep once and download all of the modules you would need from the Internet. Then you can install LS on your other PC and copy your LS folder over from this PC to the other. Now...every time you install a new theme you will want to copy the theme folder over and the modules folder over after you go into the theme for the first time. Without doing this LS will not work for you and your setup.
