why do we need to help you fast? I mean...if it is soooo annoying you think you would try and fix it before demanding support from us. We aren't the nicest people...especially when you don't both to look for an answer.

You couldn't have tried everything... otherwise you would have fixed it. ;) The answer is in austerity's readme...

Consider it an easter egg hunt. Except it's not easter and the readme isn't an egg.

I found that readme but didn't help me. I read the whole document like 100 times. Nothing. I'm getting frustrated. :(

OK, your annoying me, so I installed Austerity just so I could "help" you out,

I looked in the readme, quickly saw that was basic n00b stuff, so dove into the .rc's (holy crap!!! thats worse than my themes!!!)

First clue: In theme.rc line 144:
; desktop area base.rc

so I opened up base.rc,
Second clue (if you could call it a clue):

;--> NOTE: If you're using XP's visual styles and find that there is a border
; between maximized windows and the edge of the screen, then change every
; setting with an absolute value of 4 to 0 (as shown in the comments below).
;
; Left Top Right Bot

If that doesnt fix it I dont know what will, my Opera fullscreens perfect under Austerity, so I guess you are wanting to change those base.rc settings.

Peace out, Egg hunt == Over

All that had to be done is open the readme.htm, search for "desktop" and click "find next." (The 4th click on "find next" is where the answer is.) Does that really escape people?

(No, not directed at you fractal. :P)
