Most themes are showcased with a neat wallpaper, but I'm having a hard time finding a good site that has wallpapers at 1280x1024(LCD). When I do find a decent site, it tends to cost money to join, which I'm not ready to do yet.
http://www.interfacelift.com is a really sweet site for icons if anyone needs any.
deviantart and customize are my favourites for wallpapers.
but depthcore has some dark stuff.
DA's stuff doesn't tend to be designed for wallpapers though.

where do you guys get your walls from? google?
I have a maximized window 99% of the time and put very little thought in to a wallpaper, since I just about never see it. Usually I just use some wallpaper laying around that was included with some theme/windows/app.
First of all, I don't even like google, I use a better search engine. Second, there's a billion crappy wallpaper sites out there, which is why I came here to see what you guys have found. I have found a couple sites myself, but they don't really have anything fantastic, which is why I have been just making my own.
Depthcore had some neat stuff. I'll check out customize later.

I personally get anything from 1024*768 up as long as it catches my eye, and then resize it to 1280- with PhotoImpression.
http://animepaper.net is pretty good if you're into that sort of thing, its login/register process leaves a little to be desired though.
