I'm creating a new theme and cant settle of a color scheme so I thought I'd see what peoples fav's are.
Also debating adding gradients as well.

Purple and Green. It's ALL about purple and green. Or why not make multiple color schemes? It's not that hard, just use the change Hue / Saturation command in Photoshop for the images.

yellow and orange definitely (haven´t seen any really good themes with those colours for a while).
and blue too :)
don´t make a grey theme (my opinion, just tired of grey).
anyway be colorful, and happy ;)

GREEEEEEN! (#00a000)

It goes well with dark grays or tan.

Red can also be nice. (but don't use red & green together)

It's nice, but that's not "GREEEEEEN! (#00a000)" (unless there's a new version somewhere) I'm talkin Crayola green here.

umm .. use whatever you like. try to keep the colours complimentary, easy on the eyes (since they'll be seen for hours on end) and try to be sparing with bright primary colours.

anything coloured around the xp steel style looks decent to me :)
