elaborate. what that means. If you want more information:

In steam is gui that lists my installed games. Thats where I start some of my games. I have multiple desktops with VWM. That steam gui doesn't stay in one desktop. It follows me when I surf between desktops. How do i can make it stay in one desktop? Is that VWMFix eaven a solution. If it is, I don't know how to use it.

Check in the vwm's readme file for something about making windows stick to desktops. Pretty sure it's mentioned.

*VWMSticky
-----------------
Enables and defines sticky settings. When you switch desks, sysVWM will match the against the window titles and classes in your current virtual desktop, and any windows that match will be carried to the new desktop.
(this command can be specified multiple times for different windows)

can that be it? If, I really don't know how to use it.

Don't know. I've never used it myself.

I think its not. I think that comman spesifics what windows I want to follow me to new desktop. And I want that steam wouldn't follow me to new desktop.

I thought there was an option to tell a window to stay on a certain desktop. It sounds like you're using sysvwm? Try rabidvwm...

Rabidvwm and *VWMFix might do the trick, though I haven't tried it. Or you could write some script that'll hide/show the Steam window upon switching desks. Or you could simply stop launching games from Steam and use the popup, hotkeys, lables etc. (if you don't want Steam visible on all desks, having those games within easy reach all the time can hardly be a priority...)
