Taskbar isn't working on reboot. Thread last updated on 2005-09-27 18:18:00

Whenever I run a LS theme, I'm able to access the apps in the taskbar. Whether its a popup like tribute, or a static taskbar like austerity, it works.

But, when I reboot into explorer, and kill litestep, my taskbar doesnt function

Even when I right click on the taskbar, the entire taskbar section is greyed out. It's not working somehow, but, why, I have no idea. Is there any way you guys know of to get the tasbar back in the standard explorer shell?

Many of the apps I use minimize to the tray, and, without the taskbar, there is no way I can access them when they load up or when I minimize them...

I've checked the forums, but I havent seen anyone else having the same problems with the standard windows shell.

Its because of how you are starting explorer. You really should use the Switch to Explorer Shell option, instead of killing LS manually.

If you use the switch to explorer link then why are you killing litestep?

When I said kill litestep, I simply meant reboot to the normal shell. Sorry about the ambiguous wording.
