Games Problems Thread last updated on 2005-09-13 11:34:53

I recently tried changing my desktop not, I might add, using litestep and had problems with one or two games.

Is this likely to happen with the Litestep themes - some of which I might add really look good.

Full marks to you people who put them together.

Regards,

Pat

Some alt shell's screw with his games.

Purplepat: You can bind a hotkey (key combo) to hide the entire shell (or desktop as you put it) so nothing can interfere with your gaming.

I think any newish build of litestep detects full size apps like games and fixes it automatically. I haven't had any troubles with games in a very long time.

Many thanks for getting back to me.

How do I go about binding the hot key to hide the entire shell.

Sorry if these Qu's are a bit naff but am just getting to grips with PC use and would be grateful for any tips.

Regards,

Pat

The bang you want is !ToggleModules. Open your hotkey.rc file in your \litestep\personal folder. The format for making a hotkey will be pretty straight forward from there.
