i am installing some themes i found, and the themes with a .LSA extention work fine,and they instal other modules with them, however when i install one from a zip file, it replies that modules cannot be found and repeats this message with many different file paths. i have noticed that a couple of these files were in litestep/themes/litestep, so i moved them from there into the folder it was looking for them in, however i still had the problem. I read the thread about the other dude who never even tried, so i tried everything i could think of.

It's important to mention what theme(s) you're having a problem with, and even provide a link to it. And the ext is lsz.

ya thats the extention lol i feel stupid, but it is multiple themes for litestep i got from another website, the ones from this one all seem to work ok. you can just consider this thread closed. thanks for the speedy response though

The themes were probably not OTS or OTS2

Even if it's multiple themes, it's handy to have some examples. 99% of litestep problems that people post about have nothing to do with litestep, but the theme(s) they're trying.
