Hello.

I'd really like to use Litestep with the non | step theme on my dual monitor setup. Problem is, one of my monitors is a 15", and the other is a 17". When I tried installing Litestep onto my computer, the left monitor (15") suddenly began acting weird, and it was still at 1024x768 resolution, but the icons appeared to have been stretched to fit a 1280x1024 resolution. In other words, some of the desktop icons were missing. I don't really know how to describe it, but let's just say that it didn't work. Also, the Litestep taskbar did not appear on the other monitor (17"), which is set as the primary monitor. Eventually, I had to uninstall Litestep in order to be able to work again.

Does anyone know if Litestep supports dual monitors that are not of the same size?

the second monitor is supported at whatever resolution you put it at. However...the only way to get LiteStep onto it would be to define stuff specifically for the second monitor, and not by using a theme that stretched across both.

the next version of nonstep will fully support dual monitor setups no matter what resolutions or monitor layout, single or double size mode or even tripple ... but i currently dont have testers for that, so im limited to 2 displays at a time ...

dont u just define absolute placement values for everything? instead of doing negative values for x and y just do them all based on the main monitor's resolution.

yes...but if you have something defined on one monitor and stretch it to the next monitor, lets say a smaller resolution monitor, things will appear below the physical bottom of the display. Basically just because the viewable display of it isn't there, doesn't mean the PC won't render it out there.
