xLabel linkage arguments Thread last updated on 2005-08-22 18:17:16

I use xLabel extensively and love it. But I have a problem. I have two labels linked to the setshell program that comes with litestep. In order to actually change the shell however, I must supply command line arguments to setshell. I can't figure out how to do this using xLabel. In my rc file, I link to setshell in double quotes, but when I put a space and then the argument I'd like to pass within the quotes, nothing happens.

So my question is, how can I pass arguments to a linked program through an xLabel?

well, the EASIEST way would be to create two shortcuts with the correct arguments, then change the xlabel labels to point to each of them.
