Is there any way to get bold text in tasks? I've looked in the readme and all I can find is how to show the text in italic style...

if you use xtaskbar, yes. if you use one of the taskbar modules...probably also yes. just do a search in the readme's for "bold". however, without knowing which taskbar module you're using, I can't tell you any more.

There's a newer version to that module here, which has a reference in the readme to "bold" stuff.

you could specify the bold font, e.g.
TasksTitleFont "silkscreen bold"
:P

What you really should do is use taskbar3 or xtaskbar. :P

it wont load your tasks.rc? what does that mean?

I am guessing the error didnt say "Cant load the tasks.rc" :p

what did it actually say?

i belive it was "can't load module settings"

thats weird.
On all the modules i have used (apart from scripting ones) if I get a setting wrong it just doesnt work right.

I think thats because the core loads the step, then the modules ask it if they have any settings (or the mod settings are passed to the mod)... so if there is no setting (a misspelled or wrong setting) nothing will complain apart from the core, which would mean your .rc is fudged.

ok... I get that fault message now and then when i try new themes. But how do you fix it then? becuse i should be able to just swap my *NetLoadModule tasks-0.92-b3 for task-0.96 and still use the same tasks.rc file right?

Not necessarily. If features were remove, or syntax was changed, you could have problems.

ok, but i should still load the rc and execute thoose who sill exist?

yeah. the module will take all the settings it can find, but that doesnt mean you dont get errors ;)

You would think. Does the tasks zip have a "changes" doc in it, or does it include it in a readme or something? I'd look there.

ok, will look up that... if thats the case it's just to change the parametres that have been changed/deleted right?
