Hello all!
I work at a production house and am in charge of the system setup there for the OS, programs and overall editing workstations.
Currently we are working with windows but there are a number of hardware/software conflicts that are making me think windows needs to feel the boot.... to the ass.
I have used litestep about a year or so ago and I am thinking about perhaps switching back.
Although I also had a few problems using litestep for editing/authoring back then.
Things such as video capturing became a problem with Adobe programs (although we have capture devices on hand, it is obvious that there is still a bug in the litestep matrix and morpheus isn't here to help).

What I would like to know is, have these sorts of bugs been sorted out? if not, will they be sorted out?
Is it worth switching to litestep for this kind of work? (i have heard litestep has fewer processes to deal with then windows.. which would benefit us I think)
What are the pros and cons, truthfully?

I need a pretty solid answer on this, so I hope someone can answer.
If noone here has the technical knowledge to answer perhaps they can direct me to someone who can...

cheers all thanks for the time of day!

You're being a little vague. Exactly what bugs are you talking about?

Well...as a past LS user you should know that LS runs on Windows and doesn't replace Windows. The specific bug you are speaking of, with Adobe products, was related to an issue with VWM modules specifically. They have since been resolved.
