I know it may not look terribly pretty... in fact, it might be downright buggy, but it should help noobs get started by explaining most of the start up process in plain ole english, and referencing where people should go when they need to find answers I couldn't provide.

As it says in the web page, I hope it becomes a living doc. Help out, tell me where to improve, and keep the flames funny if you have any flames at all.
