is there a module of some wort that'd let me implement this? similar to how u can define guidelines and snap to them in ps and other programs, i want to have my windows snap to certain places (e.g. easily define my desktop into various sections and make windows certain sizes). i've tried fiddling around with desktoparea to get the desired effect but... obviously this didn't work whatsoever, which is why i'm back here :).

other than the usual funness this would give me, it'd let me get around the problem of getting stuff like aim to dock (unless theres a method of getting it to use desktoparea that i don't know about...)

Cool idea, but I don't think that such is possible at all with current versions of LS. You should aim to find other solutions unless someone proves me wrong.

You can do it with labels, in a way, but windows doing it would be cool too...

I wonder if Kidnap would be useful for this, if it was worked out with labels...
