Well hello,

I am new to the world of Litestep and intend of jumping in the moment I get home from work. For now though I'd like to ask one question.

I used to use Samurize alot, but I found it was very memory/CPU/"resource" intensive.

How much of my memory etc will Litestep eat up? For example Id like to still be able to play BF2 with litestep on.

Its not the CPU I'm worried about as I have an X2, its really the RAM.

Thanks in Advance and pleased to meet.

Memory and CPU usage in LiteStep, just like Samurize, is up to the user. If you have a really intense theme with lots of modules, it takes up lots of memory. If you go with a black and white theme with 2 modules, memory usage is very very low.

also, you're not losing memory from running explorer AND litestep, you're only running litestep. and since many themes (if written correctly) use far less resources than explorer, you shouldn't notice any difference in-game. however, you may want to include
LSAutohideModules true

into your personal.rc, so the theme doesn't "bleed" into your game, so to speak.

And in games where that doesn't work, make a hotkey (see personal\hotkey.rc--or maybe it's hotkeys.rc) for !togglemodules.
