Anything like Dwarf or Wharf out there? Thread last updated on 2005-08-08 05:47:46

Any suggestions on a module that has the same kind of functionality as Dwarf or Wharf?

I noticed in the latest dwarf it wants to use a modules.ini in the doc which turned me away instantly since I know that is not really used any more for OTS2 (or am I wrong on that?)

I suppose it's possible to build a "fake" wharf with xlabel, but it might be a lot of work.

Yeah, already looked into that, and its to much thinking HAHA. So is wharf and dwarf the only two that are out there that do there type of thing? Folder with sub folders on a bar? heh.

I haven't used a wharf in ages, but there's also Wharf-X (you can find it over on loose-screws.com). I don't know if it uses the modules.ini but maybe it could be worth a try at least.

So dwarf-20010320 errors with Error: Exception during module initilization. Contact module writer.

Heh uhhh, so I guess dwarf is out of the question?

wharf modules have been dead for years. Also you could never have a folder with subfolders with a wharf. I think you want something like LSLnkMenu.

wharf-2.1 works fine for me (still running FF.Yuna theme...)
though it can less functionality than dwarf module...
what about modules.ini - there is a problem with distribution of your theme, but it was solved in wharf-2.1 too... so... just try it =)
