hi, im new to litestep and i love it, but i would like to be able to choose my sheel when i log in.

I've written a program that allows me to choose the shell and it works fine for litestep, but not for explorer.

instead of the explorer shell it loads the explorer file manager

the ocde is simeple, i juset run litestep.exe or explorer.exe

does anybody know what command to use to run the explorer shell?

There are bunches of these apps out there. Check things out like ShellOn and Carapace. Good luck...

or, if you want to keep using your own, have the app change the appropriate registry entries. since it is (or rather, should be) running before the shell's actually loaded, that should work. I think. but like devilboi said, it would probably be easier to use an existing shell switcher.

ive tried using litespawn and shellon and i get the same problem, is there no way to force explorer.exe to run as a sehll instead of as a file manager? e.g somthing lite explorer.exe -shell

If you use SetShell does it load right?
