LiteStep
Nonstep Theme

I use andymon's 0.25.0 build now, but it worked fine for 0.24.7 RC3, too. I don't use the nonstep theme - perhaps there is a setting there that hides the Kerio icon deliberately, like this:

*vtrayHide "#32770" "Kerio Personal Firewall" 1

Go for the xtray :)

(You'll have to reconfigure *everything* though because they don't share setup syntax like systra2 and vtray do)

so kerio displays when you use your filemanager?

let me guess: Your using explorer as your filemanager (the default)
This is interesting, as it means kerio relies on something explorer has, but ls doesnt to display its tray icon.

Is there something special about the kerio icon (levitating while flashing rainbow colors?)

Does it work with xTray (like Wolzly suggests?)

What version of Kerio is it? I'm using the latest (whatever that is, it updates automatically in the newer versions), and I've never had any problem getting it to show up in vtray. Perhaps *that's* the reason for the discrepancy.

Check your startup apps and running processes for "trayserver.exe". It's installed by some Stardock apps and is known to hijack the tray at times.

Oh yea, good call, I'd almost forgotten about that possibility. It's been too long now since I had any Stardock-ware running on my PC...

hmmm got Objeckt Dock running but there's no Trayserver*.*

Kerio's Icon shows Traffic Animation, going to try xtray

I am having the exact same problem (opening explorer makes it appear), I have explorerxp as my filemanager for litestep, but explorer is still used for some reason if i type c:\ into lsxcommand.

The only difference is that the same thing happens with windowblinds. It is really weird. If someone knows something that is similar to how kerio and windowblinds do their icons, that may be the key.
