What Litestep are you using?
What OS are you using?
What theme are you using?
What filemanager are you using?

Actually my right click search... doesnt work either...

You can press CTRL-F though... weird.

I am using the explorer.exe filemanager, under Win2k3.

This is an issue for me too, can anyone offer a solution to this? Very annoying... but work around is ok.

Im curious is to what in litestep would cause such strange behavior.

I don't use explorer as a filemanager (I use Directory Opus which has its own search), but I'm guessing it not Litestep, but rather something intergrated in to the explorer shell is required, which isn't loaded when Litestep is set to the shell.

yeah, something like that xcal.
Someone made a fix for it (on win2k3) at dev.ls.net, well see if it (and fixes for other OS) end up in the future core ;)

i was just searching the forums looking for a solution to this problem so thanks for your help fractal. this was buggging me quite a bit :-(

hopefully they will sort it for future core versions because we don't all know these handy shortcuts. ;-)
