Austerity taskbar not updating Thread last updated on 2005-07-27 15:48:03

I have an issue with the Austerity theme for Litestep. The problem is that the taskbar list does not update properly such that the tasks cannot be selected properly from the taskbar unless litstep is recycled.

Is this a skin or module problem. And is there an update?

There was never an update to Austerity done, other than a few ports here and there. However...this sounds like you have the explorer shell running too which could cause major issues with Tasks and Tray.

Explorer isn't running in the background and does not run when I use the file system.

try updating taskbar3 with the latest version, that may help. and actually, Austerity was updated a few times, but Omar's latest installer has the latest version.

The latest version that I could find was taskbar3-0.3_alpha-1. Is this the final release?

ummm...you installed a PREVIOUS version...Austerity by default uses taskbar3-0.306_alpha-3...
