use your startuo disk

basically your problem is that LiteStep can not find the modules the theme specifies in the step.rc. Either the modules you needed were not included, or it was a badly written theme. If you are familiar with DOS you can use your bootdisk to edit your step.rc in your LiteStep folder and fix it to point to a different theme. If not set your shell back to explorer and download a new theme. DO NOT FEAR themes because you are new.

what OS? in 2k you could try another theme, if you used the installer, you have lsts or lscp either of which you can run from a command prompt, if you tell your os, I can tell you how to get a run prompt. don't fear themes, just use tools to impliment them, less human error.

sounds like you tried loading a 2k/xp only theme on 9x... try launching a text editor via the ctrl-alt-f1 recovery menu and edit step.rc so it loads a different theme.
