I really would like to start using LiteStep, but at the same time, I don't want to lose my original windows shell, so I'd like to know if it's possible to have 2 users, 1 with LS shell and 1 with with the Explorer shell.
I use Windows ME.

Thanks, Daniel.

you can switch between ls and explorer easily using the 2 icons that get installed in your desktop.

Also, with a real operating system like Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you can specify a shell on per-user -basis.

This means that you could have different users, one that would use Explorer and one that would use Litestep.

like mentioned above, it won't work on win me, since it's not a true muti-user OS. win2k and winxp are.

also, if you're using omar's installer, it will place two icons on your desktop, to swap between shells.

I believe there is a program that you put as your shell, (you put into your system.ini file)
on load up, it will look at your user name and decide what shell to load...
if it were me I would just open up VB and make one..., it is a really simple program...
