I tried to get back my explorer shell so I could find help with litestep in peace...(I'm new and a little confused). Anyway, after I quit litestep I couldn't get back explorer and when I went to reload it, it opens then quits the moment I start a program. I ran the uninstaller to get back the windows shell but it doesn't uninstall...it IS the installer!! I'm kinda freakin out because all I have is my background and this firefox window. please help!! I want either litestep or explorer back!

umm....now i've REALLY did something wrong...I managed to get back the litestep theme, but I can't load windows explorer. it actully loads up the startmenu bar and then my whole machine goes down the toilet. i'm almost ready to just screw the whole thing, wipe my hard drive, and start over.

HELP!! please I beg of you, I am not worthy!! please help!!!! I ReAlLy need it!!

what OS are you on?

try Shift+Ctrl+Esc and go to File -> Run. then either type in "explorer" or the path to your litestep exe (usually "c:\litestep\litestep.exe") and don't use quotes.

this should bring back either.

If you installed LS with the OTS2 installer you should be able to use the shortcuts it put on your desktop for switching between explorer and LS. They use a utility called setshell. If you can't find the shortcuts, just find setshell.exe and run it. It should be in the "utilities" folder of your litestep directory.
