I'm getting a pink flaring/bleeding around some of my icons, but not all of them? (seems to be XP native icons) Anyone have this problem? XP pro / ILG THEME (which rocks for dual monitors by the way) Ldesk module works great, other than being a b**h to place icons where you want them, and this pink flaring. I've never been able to get deskfolders to work for some reason - any other modules I should take a look at?

thats is for XP...
XP use AntiAlias in his icons to dont show it pixeled
thats why pink 255 0 255 shows in the icos, bcoz AntiAlias
is working in XP but transparency not assigned to the pink color.

Humm, LSDesk ! I know I tested it a long time ago... and I never really use it...

Deskfolder works right but, yes, there's some transparency problems you couldn't override easily. I guess you had noticed deskfolder take a snapshot of your desktop while loading. Changing wallpaper means you'll have a messy background unless you !ReloadModule deskfolder.dll (and if there is nothing on the erea it will cover)...
If you only need icons to be show, try http://www.shellfront.org/modules/icon.zip
...but I can't remember if it handle transparency correctly.

Yea, I may try !ReloadModule - but maduin gives a painthack idea, that I don't know about? - maybe we are talking about the same things. I wish the original source-c for deskfolders was not lost, I would like to look at it. I should be able to see it through the .ini file though right?

DeskfoldersPaintHack, or something like that... Yes we're talking about the same things...
Humm, I you wish to modify deskfolders.dll, please add bangs like:
!DeskfolderMove
!DeskfolderOnTop

Or LsBox support...

Ohhh yes....

Modify deskfolders? uhhh... in one of the most famous hdd crashes in litestep's history the source was lost (together with chronos' source and a few others iirc), hence the lack of development on it. Folderview was meant to replace it, and its source is available. So far no one was interested in picking it up tho.
