ok i'm using rabidvwm in an lsbox window and when i recycle (twice) i get the following error:

"error registering window class"

i'm guessing this is referring to the lsbox window, but i don't know why i get this error.

versions:

rabidVWM: 1.01
lsbox: 2.95

any ideas?

Check the title of the error message. I don't think lsbox 2.9 will report such an error, and 2.95 might be the same.

RabidVWM will say "Error registering window class" (with that exact text/case), and the title will be "RabidVWM"

The module responsible for this is probably crashing on its way out and not unregistering its window class. lsbox makes things happen in a slightly different order, so I haven't tested that as thoroughly.

yea the error is from RabidVWM (checked the error dialog). is there a way to fix this RabidCow?

Probably, but I don't know what it is yet. I tried recycling a bit with the "swollen" theme, and it works fine here so I'm gonna need more information.

If you can grab <a href="http://www.technoirotica.com/~rabidcow/RabidVWM-1.01-d.zip">this debug build</a>, load it, recycle until it crashes, then send C:\RABIDVWMLOG.HTML to rabidcow at juno.com, that would be wonderful :)

(I can have it write to someplace else if it's a problem.)
