Hoi!

I tryed litestep a day ago and I really really liked it, but there are two things I cannot get to work.

-The "Search..." - function in the Explorer does not work any more.

-litestep won't quit when I shutdown the computer. I have to manually quit litestep and use the shutdown option of the task manager.

Here's the modules I use:

LoadModule "$LitestepDir$desktop2.dll"
LoadModule "$LitestepDir$popup2.dll"
LoadModule "$LitestepDir$shortcut2.dll"
LoadModule "$LitestepDir$rainlendar.dll"
*NetLoadModule taskbar3-0.306_alpha-4
*NetLoadModule vtray-1.10
*NetLoadModule xlabel-3.1
*NetLoadModule clockwork-0.62i
*NetLoadModule lsxcommand-1.8.5
*NetLoadModule syscolor-2.3
*NetLoadModule lslnkmenu-1.75
*NetLoadModule rabidvwm-1.1.1

Thanks in advance!
Jens

1. Ad-aware
2. Spybot S&D
3. Coolweb shredder
4. Virus scan

If you come up clean, you may need to just re-install windows. LS should shutdown, and has NOTHING to do with the explorer search function. I've used it quite a bit under various shells.

My system's clean.
The Search Function runs smoothly with the explorer shell...
Thanks though =)

The "Search..." - function in the Explorer does not work any more.

known issue:
sollution part1: on shellfront is a freeware find tool.
sollution part2: open internet explorer and then use the system internal search function, then it works ;)

In XP ive noticed the right click search doesnt work, but if you click the search icon at the top , that does open up the search box.

the shortcut for that is F3 - it even is user friendlier when u set it to use the old non-dumbass wise style via xp powertoys ... this freeware find tool is better anyway since it really searchs inside all and not only text files, plus it will find hidden files explorer wont show you o.O
