Winamp doesn't load on play command Thread last updated on 2005-08-27 15:50:49

I switched themes and can't figure out why Winamp doesn't automatically load when I issue the "!AMP_PLAY" command. Anyone else know? I'm using Dynamp 0.5 at the moment.

Because you didn't configure LiteStep properly? Read the docs and you will see how and why.

you didn't have the WinampPath set to winamp.exe (or $audioplayer$ var) that's why

Thanks. I had set the audioplayer var but not the winamppath var in evars.rc.

Thanks for these hints, guys
I was trying to figure this out since yesterday...(already created a menu item to start winamp manually as a workaround)
Dynamp gave me all the commands and I put them in themes.rc but I could refresh until I was blue in the face :)
Geesh I still have a lot to read up on
