Ach I need some help, taskbar gone. Thread last updated on 2004-08-10 19:16:08

My taskbar disappeared and I can't get to any of the menus through my clicking. Right click and shift+left click do nothing. The area for the taskbar is still reserved but when I minimize windows they go to the bottom of the screen and the top bar remains in a very short length. Luckily my browser was up so I can still reach my hard drive and run things from there.

Can anyone help me? I would appreciate it very much.

Edit:

A very helpful user on another board told me how to fix it. If anyone else has this same problem it was
ctrl+alt+delete

new process

c:\litestep\litestep.exe

Though I'm new to this and the above may be commonly known.

Yup, we all know that one :)

You can add -nostartup to make litestep not re-start all the processes that normally start when windows boots up.

As of 0.24.7, -nostartup is no longer necessary, at least for NT systems.
