I changed my swap file, then afterwards litestep shows my cpu usage as -1%, I searched and found someone who has had and fixed this problem, he said he changed 2 registry entries and corrected the issue, anyone have any idea what settings might he have changed?

which module are you using for the cpu usage? label/xlabel or rainmeter? If xlabel, are you using the built in cpu usage, or the mbm one?

are you using [mbmCPU] or [CPU]? If you're using the mbm one, you probably don't have mbm loaded, or it's a MBM problem, not label. Else, you might have deleted pdh.dll. That's what I found with a quick search through the modules forum.

[cpu]

check out this thread, http://www.litestep.net/index.php?section=4&action=view&catId=1&id=3656&hl=-1%25 I did the exact same thing as this guy, he mentioned he fixed it, but didn't say how, I emailed him and he said he searched the microsoft site for hours and found something but couldn't remember what he searched for.

pdh.dll is there, I have 2 computers, should I try overwriting the problem PC's pdh.dll with the one on this machine ?

you could always try, but make sure your backup your old one in case something goes wrong. you have the same os on both?

Also, you could upgrade to xlabel(light), I believe it fixes that problem.

yes I do have Win XP Pro on both machines, I don't know much about adding or removing modules, I just replace the lines in my theme.rc from label-1.99 to XLabelLight-3.1?

also, using this pcs pdh.dll didn't do anything.

Thanks for your replies funkydood :)

Actually, read the xlabel docs. The talk about compatibilities between label and xlable. You'll have to change a few things around too.
