Hello,
After logging in (or even before), I see no "About Litestep", "What is litestep?" or "Frequently Asked Questions about litestep".
So, at the risk of sounding like a dweeb, I'm not going to download and install a piece of software until I know what it is, what it's capable of, if I can roll back my system to it's previous state easily, plus a bunch of other stuff.
There is nothing currently in the Docs tab. I am willing to contribute by writing a beginners guide, but would need a little hand holding along the way.
Regards,
Ian
OK, I just found the FAQ in the 'Links' section, which IMHO opinion an odd place for it to be. Just my 2c.
I agree. When is the docs section going to be compleate?
This site is a LiteStep Theme site and does not support the application. Currently the only all about LiteStep site would be the LSFAQ and Omar's site. LSDev.org is being built-up but it is going to take some time. All in all...if you have questions that aren't answered in the current forums hit up #LiteStep on the freenode network and your questions will be answered as quickly as possible.
As for the docs section. We are waiting for the dev team to come around with a standardized XML format...however as far as I have heard nobody has offered to work on the project as requested in the State of the Step. I can tell you however...the docs will not be a FAQ or what is style document...but more of a here are the settings provided by the application, use them as you see fit.
Remember...LS is all about freedom...so almost anything goes.
Also, before you install litestep, another nice thing to read, are the sticky topics in the general forum.
Ill help out with the docs section.
the follow through with the request put in the state of the step by contacting the dev team.
I did, but this is the email I got back.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at wuzzle.org.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Sorry, only subscribers may post. If you are a subscriber, please forward this message to litestep-owner@litestep.wuzzle.org to get your new address included (#5.7.2)
I think what DevilBoi is trying to say (:P) is that you should subscribe to wuzzle.org. If you don't know how to get there, google does wonderful things.
that would be what the error tells you to do...but it was not the instructions left behind in the state of the step.
