I've always loved litestep... Been using it for years...

But, I'm presented with a challenge...

Find the Anti-Litestep.

I'm looking for a replacement shell or app for windows that allows for full screen app launching..

Requirements are:

Large, Colorful, Tivo-ish icons.

The ability to be auto-restored via another Large, Tivoish button when an app it launched is being used.

The above ability cannot interfere with full screen video.


Basically: The ultimate idiot-box.

Now, I know I can use many flavors of Linux-ware for this.. But the boss demands Windows for the project. (three kicks to the groin for him)

Any ideas?

Err, make a litestep theme with a big neverontop taskbar? One of those macosx dock applications?

I know people have used litestep to make themes for media pcs and the like... maybe I don't really understand your question.
